Who We Are

We are a small UK family run business which specialises in the Design & Manufacture of bespoke Tough Rubber component. We have been producing quality items for 5 + years, mainly in the auto-mobile industry. Providing rubber Vehicle Jacking Pads to help protect the chassis from damage while being lifted. We have and continue to provide products to individuals for DIY and numerous business world wide. We work closely with our raw material supplies of Vulcanized rubber who meet the strict criteria of international norms CAN/CSA 262.4-97. Small example of Products & Companies: Rubber display board stands - Fossil UK and Europe. Engine Support Stands - McLarren Rubber vibration absorbent feet / stands - Various.

Question: Why should I not just use hockey pucks?

Answer:While a hockey puck could technically be used as a jack pad, I would not recommend it for several reasons:
Reasons to purchase a set of Jacking pads:
1. Risk of incorrect placement: Even if the vehicle owner knows the correct lifting points, anyone else lifting the car—whether at a garage or roadside—may not. Incorrect placement can easily damage the car.
2. Design advantages of our jack pads: These jack pads feature a unique self-hold design. They are positioned by inserting them into the existing jacking points first, then the jack is raised to meet the pad. This ensures correct alignment while the car is still low to the ground. (Pads should always be removed after use.)
3. Potential for costly damage: I have seen—and photographed—vehicles lifted at incorrect points, resulting in bent chassis components. Skipping proper jack pads to save a small amount can lead to expensive repairs or even a total loss. In my view, this is a serious false economy; it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
You spend many thousands of pounds or dollars on your pride and joy then skimp on making sure it is always jacked correctly. Yep, that makes sense!!

Question: Which jacking pads fit a 2015 Aston Martin Vantage.

Answer: A 2015 Aston Martin Vantage requires an AM4v2 -style adapter designed for the Gaydon-era chassis. Our AM4v2 jacking pads are specifically machined to fit into the factory lift points behind the front wheels and ahead of the rear wheels.

WHAT ARE ASTON MARTIN JACK PADS MADE FROM?

All Jacking Pad Adapters are machined out of Tough Vulcanised Rubber (The same as Pucks or Car tyres ) it will protect your sill whilst jacking up your Aston Martin. It is made of rubber in order to give you the strength to lift but also a small degree of flexibility.
This will help avoid any damage to the jacking area of your Aston Martin and will slot into the jack pad allowing you to safely jack your car up.

SELF HOLD PAD REQUIREMENT

In order for the Aston Martin Pads to self hold the Rubber jacking point plugs must be in position and in good order. Please note when Jacking pads are first used the self hold rubber locating O rings may be a tight fit so some lubricant may be required to ease first use. Jacking Pads should be removed after use and stored in the car ready for next use.

2. Provide us with your delivery address / Phone number and we will post out to you by recorded delivery within a couple of days. Following payment has been cleared (Bank can take 24 hours).

3. Lastly, please email us confirming your choice of payment (i.e. 'payment sent' to Paypal or Bank).

In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we will issue a full refund. All items must be returned to us unused and in original condition. Any special orders ie non standard or modified cannot be refunded as we will not be able to resell. We reserve the right to also charge a restocking fee if appropriate.We provide a 30 days refund policy, whereby the buyer pays return postage.

IMPORTANT: Customs Clearance for Orders Outside of the UK

If you are customer based outside of the UK, customs charges (import duty / Tariffs and local tax) will be payable on your order. These charges are beyond the control of TJA and will vary from country to country and also depending upon the specific products or materials ordered and the total value of the order.

When your goods arrive in your country you will be contacted by the courier (or shipping agent) to pay the import duty and taxes which you must do in a timely manner. If you do not pay the import duty and taxes then your goods cannot be cleared through customs and cannot be delivered to you. In this event, they will be disposed of or returned to us at your cost. In the event of returned goods due to failure to clear goods through customs, the cost of outward delivery and return delivery will be subtracted from the value of the returned goods before any refund is made..

SAFETY NOTE AND SALE TERMS / CONDITIONS:

When jacking a car, this should be done on solid level ground, the jack pad should be placed in the center of the trolley jack head which must be larger than the pad. A suitable flat surface for support / lift under the car should be used for all types of rubber pads. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all pads do not come into contact with any trim, we cannot guarantee this due to the low tolerances observed on some of the Aston Martin models.
Items purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of “Satisfactory Quality” unless specified at the time of sale. Improper use could result in injury or damage. We accept no liability for damage or injury caused whilst using this item any claim against us are limited to the cost of the item.
